Hey everyone! I've been on Youtube watching random videos out of boredom once again. Eh, I'm actually not that bored. I'm just trying to delay my time to study. You know procrastination? That's my hobby. LOL!

There's always the fun part in watching random videos on Youtube. You wouldn't know what you'll find next. Maybe it's something disgusting, maybe it'll be sad, or just a trolling video.

Here's a video of a talented young lady, Taylor Davis, playing the Princess Mononoke Theme with her violin, collaborated with Tamathps. I find this piece of music extremely pleasing to my ears, so I've uploaded the video here to share it with you guys.

Oh, do you know Princess Mononoke is a Studio Ghibli film directed by Hayao Miyazaki who also directed the Academy Award winning film Spirited Away?

I got excited to watch Princess Mononoke after listening to this music theme. I'll definitely watch it and let you guys know AFTER MY EXAMS!!

Tata!!

Whee~ I'll be able to do this trick with the new Malaysian 50sen coins and turn into no face. Haha!

Hey! How's everyone doing in 2013? Great?
I hope so.

2012 has been quite an awesome year for me but I'm not going to tell you how awesome it was! Hmm......
I'll leave that for the next post coming up in........
February maybe?
No, it's not that I'm lazy, maybe a little la....but,
Hey! I have final exams in another 2 weeks you know?
How 'awesome' is that?
=.="

Last Thursday, I tagged along with my housemate to the Chinese New Year Festival(新春园游会) held by MMU Chinese Society at the MMU President Square. It was my first time witnessing such an event ever since the day I joined MMU. Stalls selling foods and drinks surrounded the President Square. People were buzzing all over, chit chatting in excitement. This really reminds me of koku day during my school days when we'll buy some foods, chit chat, play around, then eat and play and eat again. lol....

The show started at 8pm and ended at about 11.30pm. It's pretty late you know, but it's fun! I'm just so glad that I went there early so I get sit on a chair and enjoy the performances, not having to stand there for 3 hours watching. The performances were overall entertaining, especially the chinese yoyo performance. Those guys were just awesome! I just wish there was a drama. That'll be nice ya....

During my school days, on the day before CNY holiday starts, there will always be CNY performances. Everybody will be so excited for it that no one has the mood for studies. I bet so do the teachers! The most anticipated show that everyone don't want to miss is the drama. Every year without fail, my school will come out with a short CNY themed drama that will make us laugh and maybe bring some tears. Those were the days.......
Eh wait......
I just realised I haven't step into to my secondary school since the day I declare myself as a SPM leaver. What a shame.....

Anyway, I have been complaining to mum of how little new year clothes I have left because she forced me to wear most of them last year.

Mum: "Aiya! You everyday wear same clothes not sien meh? Wear your new year clothes la!!"
T^T.......fine lor.....

So my mum brought me to Mahkota Parade yesterday to sapu some new year clothes. You won't believe how long I spent in Kitschen and how many times I entered the fitting room with an armful of clothes until the girl on service laughed at me.....and I laughed back.
Awkward.

I'm so happy with the clothes I bought but I wish I can buy more. Hoho~ greedy ain't I?
Anyway, now that I have bought myself some new clothes, I can finally ease my mind, lock myself in my room and focus on my studies.

Shopaholic for a day, prisoner for the rest of the month.
wth?

Before I end this post, here's a short, heartwarming CNY advertisement to remind us of our parents and don't forget to attend our family reunion dinner.
You'll thank me!

Happy new year and also Happy CNY in advance to those celebrating the festival!

My Mighty Princess isn't your normal high school movie and there's no princess involved. Instead, this movie depicts the life of a girl who has inherited the super natural traits from her parents and she's a martial art prodigy. So you're expected to see some human beings flying around clashing their swords. Yawnage? Not exactly as this movie managed to entertain me for 2 hours. Yup, this is a romance comedy movie.

My Mighty Princess

My Mighty Princess stars Shin Min Ah as Kang So Hwi and On Joo Wan as Il Young.

Here's the summary of the movie:
(Copy and paste from AsianWiki. Opps.....)

Kang So-Hwi, a beautiful martial arts prodigy, is about to embark on a journey into adulthood. But her journey is like no other. Her super-human strength and martial arts prowess scares away her fellow undergrads and even the boy she has fallen for. Devastated, So-Hwi decides to give up martial arts and takes a different path. Her father, a martial artist himself, is afraid of losing an heiress to the family’s martial artistry, and missions So-Hwi’s old buddy Il-Young to persuade her to stay in the field. Meanwhile, the evil Heuk-Bong provokes a war to conquer the martial arts world with the legendary Fine Blade he stole in the past, killing every swordsman one after another. So-Hwi’s father comes to a showdown with Heuk-Bong, but the battle leaves him fatally injured. On the brink of her father’s death, So-Hwi picks up a sword again with a burning desire for revenge.

My review:

As I've mentioned above, this is a romance comedy movie with martial arts involved. So Hwi(Shin Min Ah), the iron girl with super human strength who can bend iron bar, carry huge stones and wouldn't faint when a construction worker accidentally drops a hammer on her head. Haha like wth man... but I cracked up at that scene. LOL

This movie doesn't have much logic as it's only made to garner laughter from viewers so it shouldn't be watched in a serious mode. I felt as if I was watching an anime with real action.

Although the overall story is good, I don't feel the satisfaction that I'll always get when I've watched a great movie. So I guess this movie doesn't fit into my liking. However, I can't help to notice that Shin Min Ah's performance is rather good. I wouldn't say that it's her best since I've never watched any of her other movie or drama before but I'll say My Mighty Princess turns out to be better because of her.

Part 1

Part 2

Hi everyone! Today marks the end of my mid-term exams and the countdown of 6 more weeks to
final exams!!

What the heck?!

And not to forget the heaps of assignments still left untouched with due dates that are within weeks from now.

Can I have some rest please?

MMU = NO LIFE
*sigh*

It's the mid of December already, aka the sales month but I still haven't had the time to go shopping.
Please....I'm craving for new year clothes already!

Anyway, mid-term was a mess. Well, not literally but partially.
I can't remember what I did except.....

I looked at the exam questions, then I looked around me. Everyone was busy writing and punching the calculator buttons, so I followed them.

Woohoo~

I have no idea what I was doing...

But I want to say that the I-have-no-idea-what-I'm-doing feeling was awesome!
I have no idea why I was feeling that way.
I must be crazy.

The rest is history.
hoho~

Hello! Here's a short update again. I know I should be studying but I can't concentrate right know so I decided to take a break from studies for awhile. I'll keep this short and sweet, okay?

I can't believe it's December already. Everyone is greeting December like it's the most joyful month of the year. I mean......of course it should be joyful for those who will be celebrating Christmas. But, Christmas falls on Tuesday and I still need to attend classes on Monday and Wednesday, unlike those who are having holidays for the whole month of December. How to enjoy Christmas? Not shiok lor.....

Without me realizing, it's December already, indicating the nearing of 2013 and the end of 2012 soon. And then I'll be 21 by next year. OMG! Why so fast turn 20+?! It's okay la.......my birthday is in September so I'm still 20.....but I feel like I'm still 17 or 18. lol!

I didn't realize I hadn't change my calendar until a month ago(November), I took a look at it and it showed OCTOBER 2011. Lol......why didn't I bother to change it? It's too late to change now since 2012 is ending soon. I'll make sure to get myself a 2013 calendar next year and place it on my desk. I must!

In the midst of a busy life, there were times when I thought to myself.....

How nice if I can go back in time.
How nice if time can stop, even if it's just for a few minutes.

Imagine that. If you were given a chance to go back in life, what will you do? Where will you be?
But time can never stop. I can never go back. Whatever done is done. Life will go on forever, and I shall forever live with it, yeah.....the memories.

I sound emo? A little I guess. Maybe studied too much then brain went haywire. Hahaha!

Anyway, here's a music video with the song title 'Time, please stop'.

This music video depicts a modern version of the Snow White where Snow White isn't typical princess or a good little girl we know all these while from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. In this modern era, Snow White is just a girl who loves clubbing a lot. Of course, there are dwarfs, the evil stepmother and the huntsman but in this video, Snow White also has a lover. This is a twisted version of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

Singer: Davichi
Song title: Time, please stop
(T-ara's Eunjung as Snow White in this video.)

Before the tears fall down, please stop there.
Before the separation comes, please stop there.
Before exam comes, time, please stop there until I finished my studies.
Muahahahaha!!
